Giving Tuesday with Our Friends will be a virtual two-part event, available to view on their social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

The Endo Black, Inc. event invites those who have endometriosis, support those with endometriosis, and those interested in learning more about endometriosis to hang out with the Executive Director, who will be joined by Samantha Denäe, La-Anna Douglas, Britney Scott, and a few other endometriosis advocates. They'll be sharing their experiences, how they connected with Endo Black, Inc. and what this organization means to them. With help from supporters, Endo black, Inc. hopes to raise $4,000 through contributions and monthly donations.

Part one of Giving Tuesday with Our Endo Friends will take place on Instagram Live at @endo_black and begin at 1:40 PM EST. Part two viewers can catch Endo Black, Inc. in the evening on Instagram Live, Facebook Live, and Zoom at 6:10 PM EST.

Lauren R. Kornegay, Executive Director and founder at Endo Black, Inc., says, "Our top goal for Giving Tuesday is to raise $4,000 by Tuesday, November 30, 2021. These funds will operate as seed money for our endometriosis conference in March 2022, specifically, the venue. We will also use a portion of the funds to outsource work to women of color who will assist with marketing and outreach efforts."

Endo Black, Inc. is a black-women-led organization advocating for African American women and women of color affected by endometriosis. The organization provides African American women and women of color with a safe space and has connected thousands of African American women and women of color.

"There are many misconceptions about endometriosis," said Lauren R. Kornegay, Executive Director, and founder. "I believe that people must learn about endometriosis because it's a full-body disorder that can alter your life in many different aspects. If we are knowledgeable about endometriosis, many will no longer be gaslit or ignored."
